Gifts

September 24

Over the past few months here in the States, I’ve been steeling myself for settling down and getting old and boring….But plans have a funny way of changing and gifts come into your life from truly unexpected places. In one week I’ll be hopping on a jet plane, destination: Phnom Penh, Cambodia!

Life is such an interesting journey with all sorts of detours, and I’m glad that these detours have brought some truly special people into my life! I would like to send a massive “Thank you” to all the people who invited me into their homes and hearts. You are ridiculously special to me and I will miss you more than I miss Pumpkin Pie (which if you know me at all, is huge!). But now it’s time to add more special people to my life and to embark on another adventure!

You may have heard rumors that this move to the tropics is really me just trying to escape winter for the 3rd consecutive time, but in addition to my Houdini like efforts to stay warm all year round, I will also be working with this fantastic organization, check it out—–> The Aziza Foundation

Quote to live by:
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
